Modal Electronics is a British manufacturer developing modern digital and hybrid synthesizers. The Modal 002 (2014) was a hybrid synthesizer with digital oscillators and analog filters. The Modal CRAFTsynth (2017) offered compact, experimental sound design. The Modal Argon8 (2019) was praised for its wavetable synthesis and high-quality sound.
