Octave Plateau was a US manufacturer that produced innovative synthesizers in the 1970s. The Octave Cat (1976) was a monophonic synthesizer developed as an alternative to the ARP Odyssey. The Octave Kitten (1977) was a compact version of the Cat with similar sound capabilities. The Voyetra Eight (1982) was an eight-voice rack synthesizer featuring complex FM and analog synthesis.
