Orders from Germany and countries outside Europe stay untouched by this regulation.

E-mu Systems was founded in 1971 and shaped the development of samplers and synthesizers. The Emulator (1981) was one of the first affordable digital samplers. The SP-1200 (1987) revolutionized hip-hop production with its characteristic lo-fi sound. The Proteus 2000 (1998) was a sample-based rack synthesizer that offered a vast sound library and was widely used in studios.
