Korg was founded in 1962 in Japan and is one of the most well-known synthesizer manufacturers. The Korg MS-20 (1978) was a semi-modular synthesizer with an aggressive filter sound. The Korg M1 (1988) was one of the best-selling synthesizer workstations of all time. The Korg Minilogue (2016) brought analog synthesis back in a compact form.
